What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase?

Macnica Americas is in a very exciting position in North America.  We are re-inventing and leading the way in providing differentiated solutions to the market – by providing comprehensive offerings to our clients.  Our ability to scope and scale resources and solutions efficiently and quickly means that our clients can choose from discrete components to full turn-key solutions.  

Our line card is another differentiator.  We work with the best organizations in the industry – offering leading edge products that can truly provide value and a competitive edge to our clients.

The most exciting element of being part of Macnica Americas…the people and the culture.  MAI embraces teamwork and collaboration like no company I’ve ever worked for before.  The team is passionate, hardworking, and is focused on providing support to our clients from ideation through post-sales support.

What do you think sets Macnica Americas apart as an employer or company to work for?

It starts with the core values of the organization.  Macnica has been built on the core values of TEAMS.  TEAMS is an acronym for Trust Excitement Aggressiveness Move and Stretch.  These values run throughout the entire company – and these core values aren’t just written on paper – they are encouraged and implemented into our daily business practice.  This means that we hold one another accountable to behaving in a fashion that exemplifies these values.  When a team truly trusts one another – and when we are encouraged to stretch and move beyond our comfort zones – we can achieve great things.

Do you have a favorite quote, motto, or piece of advice that inspires you in your work?

A mentor of mine shared a very valuable quote with me that has stuck with me throughout my career.  She would say “people do business with people that they know, like, and trust”.  We are still in a people business.  Our clients and vendor partners are looking for people that they entrust their business with – and enjoy working with.  I am looking forward to building mutually beneficial relationships with our clients and vendors!  I am thrilled to be part of the Macnica Americas team.

What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase?

What excites me most every day are the technologies Macnica develops and invests in globally, and how Macnica Americas (MAI) is so nimble and agile in adapting and customizing for each customer based on both their project-specific and future roadmap requirements. I’m also taking our solid partnerships with key suppliers to a new level, and always keep a close eye on new partners who can help accelerate growth for all parties involved.

What do you think sets Macnica Americas apart as an employer or company to work for?

Our most valuable assets are our people, who are living and breathing our TEAMS core values in everything we do – Trust, Excitement, Aggressiveness, Move and Stretch. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to many other organizations, big or small, and Macnica Americas is in an ideal position who has the strong backing of a $9.5 Billion global company, while keeping a start-up operating mode with a high level of flexibility and agility.

 What skills or qualities do you bring to the team that you feel have been most impactful?

What I feel has been most impactful is my experience in building solutions and managing ecosystem partners throughout majority of my career, with 9 years of them laser focused on imaging and vision technologies. Getting deep exposure into AV over IP technologies for the broadcast and Pro AV markets after joining Macnica Americas further expanded and elevated my horizon. Being able to translate innovative technologies into complex solutions with the support of our technical teams is one of the many joys of my job.

What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase?

Joining a team of not only high-achievers, but of really high-quality people with extremely diverse backgrounds.  Its amazing to have an opportunity to shape and grow our business with such great individuals. 

Can you share one specific project, achievement, or contribution you’re particularly proud of?

In the short time I’ve been with Macnica Americas, I’ve been able to help identify and develop our strategy and offerings for a number of industry verticals.  It’s very rewarding to be able to leverage my experience and contribute very quickly since joining the team. 

What industry, market, innovation, technology, service do you believe will drive Technology Transformation for All?

I continue to be fascinated with the advancements in robotics across a number of verticals. As AI and ML continue to make robotics more intelligent, the possibilities are endless.

The opportunity to be part of a company with values and vision, and to contribute to the success of the company.

What do you think sets Macnica Americas apart as an employer or company to work for?

Vision, values, management – I have never been a part of a company where the management team is deeply engaged in the business. From the top-down, this company cares about it’s employees, customers, and partners.

What industry, market, innovation, technology, service do you believe will drive Technology Transformation for All?

There is not a single industry, market, innovation or technology that will drive our initiative. In fact, it’s stated in our mantra (for All). Therefore, in order to benefit all, we will need to service, support, and development innovative solutions across all industries and markets. However, there is significant growth in embedded AI/ML solutions that I believe will span multiple industries and allow for greater impact toward a Technical Transformation.

What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase?

We are hiring top talent and deploying the best individuals into the right positions in the key markets for the upcoming technological transformations such as AI, Edge Processing, Vision Systems and Automotive.

What do you think sets Macnica Americas apart as an employer or company to work for?

The Macnica Americas team forming around me has massive depth, vast experience and huge previous success from diverse backgrounds, whether they are new or tenured with the organization. These are all people I am excited to learn from, grow with and start winning together. This team is very close, and sharing success and lessons learnt, giving and receiving recognition, and freely collaborating with the whole team happens daily.

What skills or qualities do you bring to the team that you feel have been most impactful?

I am always eager to learn new technologies, new markets, and share the future of what technology looks like for upcoming leaders in this market place. Sowing the Seeds of Tomorrow is critical for this position and I love supporting customers new and old, and take a lot from getting them to market sooner.

What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase?

It’s building from the ground up. Being able to shape a marketing strategy and plan to enable growth in MAI. It’s about having the opportunity from a marketing perspective to have a direct impact on the success and growth of MAI.

What do you think sets Macnica Americas apart as an employer or company to work for?

I appreciate the value of being on a small team that feels like a startup in many ways but has a strong history and global footprint. Additionally, the diversity in not only the regional teams but globally, provides great value to me personally. Lastly, it offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact and stretch to create new paths to success.

What industry, market, innovation, technology, service do you believe will drive Technology Transformation for All?

AI is truly transformative in pretty much every walk of life, especially from an efficiency standpoint. As a marketer, I’m excited about the possibilities with Augmented Reality (AR) and Extended Reality (XR), which aligned with AI capabilities, enable you to really expand on user experiences and customer journeys through tailored content delivered in unexpected ways that drive immersive collaborations.

 What excites you most about being part of Macnica Americas, especially during this growth phase? I am truly excited about Macnica Americas' role in driving once in a century transformation in the automotive industry, including ICE (internal combustion engine vehicles), HV (hybrid vehicles), and EV (electric vehicles). The cutting-edge semiconductor technologies and IoT solutions to enable next-generation mobility projects inspires me. It’s motivating to see how our efforts are helping to shape the future of the industry.
