Job description

About Hindbo Construction

If you are looking for a place where your work genuinely matters, this is the kind of company people stay with for years. Don Hindbo built the business in 1992, and his son Coady has spent more than twenty years learning the trade and growing the company alongside him. Together they have become one of Salmon Arm’s most trusted custom home builders, known for quality, consistency, and a reputation that no competitor can match.

What sets this team apart is the culture. The crew is experienced, loyal, and proud of the work they deliver. Many come from farming and trades backgrounds where hard work is second nature, and that mindset shows in every project. The environment is steady, hands on, and genuinely enjoyable. You are trusted to take ownership, work independently, and deliver work you can be proud of. Quality is the expectation, not the exception.

Leadership is one of the biggest reasons people join and stay. Coady is calm, supportive, and grounded. He understands real life and stands behind his team when challenges come up. In return, he looks for people who want to commit, contribute, and grow. This is a family oriented, community focused company with team members who serve as local firefighters and volunteers. You are not just building homes. You are building for your own community.

If you want to work for owners who care about their people, pay attention to the details, and lead with common sense and respect, this is the right place. Ideas are welcomed, learning is encouraged, and good work is recognized. This is an opportunity to join a respected builder where you can make a real impact and be part of a team that takes pride in everything they create.
