Job Summary
As the Regional Field Applications Engineer (eastern region) you will report to the VP of Business Development and Sales. You will be responsible for the day-to-day advising and supporting Macnica's sales team and their customers with technical recommendations and guidance across our product and services portfolio. You will meet with customers face-to-face and via conference calls and video conferencing. Additionally, you will collaborate and work with our vendor and supplier partners to assess opportunities, provide market feedback, and present their product offerings.
Responsibilities:
Provide analysis of customers' technical specifications and recommend the best solutions
Utilize technical knowledge of product and services to respond to customers' product requirements
Recommend solutions and outline technical requirements to meet the customers' needs
Develop and deliver technical product presentations or sales briefings for potential customers
Collaborate with implementation teams to troubleshoot problems and develop solutions or deliver customer training
Ensure that demand creation quotas, sales trainings, and team goals are met while adhering to approved budgets
Job requirements
Required Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years experience in the semi-conductor industry or related area as an individual contributor
Expertise in field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs)
Single-board computer (SBC) development experience
Knowledge of the function and department processes
