Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Quality Assurance & Logistics Manager to lead and optimize our quality control and logistics operations. This leadership role will manage a dedicated team and focus heavily on improving current processes, procedures, and systems—including playing a key role in the ongoing enhancement and utilization of SAP across logistics and quality functions. The successful candidate will ensure that the organization maintains high operational standards while driving efficiency, consistency, and continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain and quality systems.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure product quality.
Oversee all aspects of logistics operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers while maintaining high service levels.
Address and resolve any quality issues with suppliers and manage performance through regular evaluations.
Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and certifications.
Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
Manage subordinate employees, including interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Oversee receipt, storage, and tracking of image sensors and related components, ensuring accurate inventory records.
Implement inventory control processes to minimize discrepancies, overstocking, or stockouts.
Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to maintain accuracy.
Supervise picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Coordinate with the operations team to prioritize orders based on customer requirements and delivery deadlines.
Monitor and reduce order processing times to contribute to low Operational Cost per Order (OCPO).
Ensure compliance with electrostatic discharge (ESD) protocols and other handling requirements for sensitive semiconductor components.
Maintain climate-controlled storage conditions (e.g., temperature, humidity) to protect inventory quality.
Manage daily warehouse activities, including receiving, shelving, and organizing inventory for efficient access.
Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and accessibility.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with OSHA and industry standards.
Lead, train, and supervise a small team of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to improve productivity and safety.
Use inventory management software and ERP systems to track inventory and process orders.
Implement barcode scanning or RFID systems to enhance inventory accuracy and order fulfillment speed.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and fulfillment time to identify improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with logistics providers (e.g., FedEx, UPS) to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments.
Oversee packaging processes, ensuring ESD-safe materials and proper labeling for shipments.
Manage returns and reverse logistics, resolving issues related to damaged or incorrect shipments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, such as lean warehousing techniques or automation.
Collaborate with the Director of Operations to reduce waste and streamline workflows.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Enforce safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., RoHS, export controls) and company policies.
Maintain documentation for audits and inspections related to inventory and safety.
Work with the customer service and procurement teams to resolve order-related issues promptly.
Ensure high order accuracy to support customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping.
Proficiency with warehouse management software and ERP systems.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members, suppliers, and logistics providers.
Basic understanding of semiconductor handling requirements (e.g., ESD, climate control).
Familiarity with ISO9000 2015 Quality standards.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; and 10 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Environment:
Warehouse setting with regular interaction with office-based teams.
